Marina Carrieri de Souza currently works at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and is a PhD student in the in the Doctoral Programme in Agroecosystems (UFSC) and in the Doctoral Programme in Agrifood and Environmental Sciences (Università degli Studi di Trento). Marina does research in short food supply chain, agroecology and sustainable food systems. Her PhD research project "Food supply in urban centers: Civic Food Networks (CFN) improving agroecology and the development of family farming" is studying the effect of CFN in Trento (TN) and Florianópolis Region in state os Santa Catarina ( (Southern Brazil)
